Anthony “Zikz” Gray remains at the helm of 100 Thieves VALORANT for years to come.
LOS ANGELES, August 14, 2024 - 100 Thieves, the leading gaming organization and lifestyle brand, announced their multi-year contract extension of Anthony “Zikz” Gray as head coach for the 100 Thieves VALORANT franchise. Zikz’s contract extends to 2027 - the first of many steps for 100 Thieves to continue building championship-level rosters.
In Zikz’s first year as head coach, he led 100 Thieves to victory in VCT America Championship in Split One, qualifying the team for its first international event in over a year.
“Tony is a rarity in the esports space. There are few individuals in the scene that can maintain a world class form across different titles,” said Joseph Jang, Vice President of Esports for 100 Thieves. “I know first hand how much dedication, grit, and passion he brings to his craft, and I know he is the best fit to lead the future of the program. Zikz is considered one of North America's most successful Esports coaches. In League of Legends, Zikz led Counter Logic Gaming to MSI League of Legends Finals in 2016 and LCS champions in the same season. More recently, In 2023., Zikz led Evil Genius in becoming a VALORANT World Champion. Zikz signed to 100 Thieves as the VALORANT head coach in 2024.
