100 Thieves Crazy Raccoon Re-signs Roster for ALGS Year 6

100 Thieves Crazy Raccoon retains world champion roster of Phony, Genburten, and Verhulst with the addition of Head Coach Nihil for the ALGS Year 6 season.

LOS ANGELES, CA & TOKYO, JAPAN – March 05, 2026100 Thieves, the premier gaming-focused lifestyle brand, and Japanese esports powerhouse Crazy Raccoon today announce the re-signing of their joint Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) roster for Year 6 of competition. The formidable trio of Josue “Phony” Ruiz, Noyan “Genburten” Ozkose, and Evan “Verhulst” Verhulst will continue to represent 100 Thieves Crazy Raccoon—the “Crazy Thieves”—alongside newly appointed Head Coach Gian Safar Daniel “Nihil” Freudenthal.

After a competitive debut year that saw the joint venture compete on the world stage at the ALGS Year 5 Championship in Sapporo, Japan, the Crazy Thieves are running it back with a roster of proven world champions and a new coaching addition designed to push the team to new heights in ALGS Year 6.

Roster & Coaching Staff:

  • Genburten – Widely regarded as one of the best controller players in the world, Genburten is a multi-time world champion. His accolades include 1st place at the ALGS 2023 Split 2 Playoffs, 1st place at the ALGS 2022 Championship, and 1st place in the 2024 Split 2 Pro League for North America.

  • Phony – A strategic in-game leader with a proven track record across multiple roster iterations, Phony became a world champion at the ALGS 2024 Split 2 Playoffs.

  • Verhulst – A fan-favorite known for his exceptional mechanical skill, Verhulst has placed 1st at the ALGS 2023 Championship, 1st at the ALGS 2023 Split 1 Playoffs, and 1st at the ALGS 2022 Split 1 Playoffs in North America.

  • Nihil (Head Coach) – A new addition to the Crazy Thieves for ALGS Year 6, Nihil brings fresh strategic perspective and coaching expertise to elevate the roster’s preparation and in-game decision-making.

2025 Season Recap:

The 2025 season marked the beginning of the 100 Thieves and Crazy Raccoon partnership in competitive Apex Legends. As 100 Thieves, the roster delivered a strong debut campaign, finishing 4th at the ALGS 2025 Open, 7th at the ALGS Midseason Playoffs, and claiming a 1st place finish at the ASUS ROG invitational. Following the formation of the joint venture, the team competed as 100 Thieves Crazy Raccoon at the ALGS Year 5 Championship in Sapporo, Japan, finishing 6th against the world’s best. The squad has proven they belong among the elite in competitive Apex Legends and are hungry for more heading into Year 6.
