100 Thieves Announces Departure of VALORANT Head Coach Anthony “Zikz” Gray
LOS ANGELES, CA — October 21, 2025 — 100 Thieves today announces the departure of Anthony “Zikz” Gray from his role as Head Coach of the 100 Thieves VALORANT team. Zikz, joined the organization on September 25, 2023 following his achievement at Evil Geniuses' 2023, which was the first North American roster to claim a VALORANT World Championship.
His arrival marked a strategic shift in the organization's coaching philosophy, bringing championship-caliber experience from both VALORANT and his decorated League of Legends career, where he led Counter Logic Gaming to back-to-back LCS championships (2015-2016) and an MSI Finals appearance.
During his tenure, Zikz played a pivotal role in shaping the team’s competitive identity and achieving some of our most significant milestones in Valorant: a first-place finish at VCT Americas Stage 1 in 2024 and Top 4 finish at VCT Masters Shanghai in 2024. Zikz led 100 Thieves through key roster developments, strategic evolutions, and international competitions. His guidance and mentorship left a lasting impact on the organization’s VALORANT program.
100 Thieves expresses sincere gratitude to Anthony for his dedication and contributions to the VALORANT program. His strategic leadership, commitment to player development, and role in the team’s competitive successes will be remembered as defining elements of the organization’s VALORANT legacy. The organization wishes Zikz the very best in his future endeavors as he embarks on the next chapter of his professional journey.
"Anthony has served as a key cornerstone piece in both of our Valorant and League of Legends programs during his long tenure here at 100 Thieves. He’s actively been a part of some of our greatest achievements in both of these respective titles and has actively taken part in every chance to deliver for our organizations and our fans. We are thankful for all of the contributions he’s made to date as he continues in his professional journey” - Joseph Jang, SVP of Esports.
100 Thieves remains committed to building on its competitive success in VALORANT and will share updates regarding future coaching appointments in the coming weeks.
